Thoughts About Christian Faith

When asked about the meaning of life, people fall into one of the following categories:

  • Some people want to know what life is about and so, they set about seeking answers.
  • Others may drift through life satisfied to leave ultimate questions unanswered.
  • A significant percentage of humanity hold to a settled or assumed view of reality, such as those taught by one of the major religious traditions or one of their offshoots or secular Western culture.
  • Finally, there are those who believe that there are no answers, that life remains a mystery, and that truth about the meaning of existence is unknowable.

This site is addressed primarily to those in the first category, the seekers. However, all others are welcome as well. In what follows, I advocate for the Christian faith by discussing the following topics:

  • Why Christian faith remains relevant to today's issues and concerns
  • Basic assumptions about certainty and the pursuit of truth
  • Reasons for faith
  • Responses to common questions and objections
